Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress best famous for her role in Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. She was first known for her 1980s role in Tezaab where she co-starred with veteran actor Anil Koopor. Her subsequent appearance on the screen was in Dil with Aamir. As a child, the Mumbai-born dancer began learning at an early stage. She began acting when she was an infant and was struggling through a couple of years since the majority of her first films failed. She found fame and became one of India's leading film actresses. Following her marriage she had a break in her career before re-entering the industry. Dixit played an important role as a lead actress in Gulaab Gang, a film about women's struggles in India. Dixit is nominated in fifteen Filmfare Awards. Of these she's received 8. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award given to civilians in India is bestowed to Dixit. Her work in the field of social service is well-known.
