Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. She grew up listening to the old and classical boleros as well traditional ranchero, romantic and romance ballads. Ana is a lover of opera, tangos and any form of dramatic performance. Ana started learning how to sing and play music at an early age by her mother. She received more formal training in singing at the age of 16 old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. She continued her musical training with the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. As a student and young professional, she performed with several chamber groups and opera choirs in Guadalajara and Mexico City. She was part of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She is currently performing traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. as a music teacher and musician she has a passion for several community initiatives because of her passion and enthusiasm for music. Ana is also a past part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to be able communicate with other people her love for traditional Latin American music. She hopes to inspire younger generations to keep the tradition living.
